EVERY YOUNG PERSON IS A HIDDEN GEM.

IT TAKES A COMMUNITY

No child grows alone.

We see the people around each child as part of the possibility. Families, schools, coaches, and neighbors all have a role in helping young people thrive.

Connected families. Stronger communities.

Our expanded mission includes connecting families with resources, services, and opportunities, and building meaningful school and community partnerships.

Supporting the people who support youth.

We're growing our vision for training and resources for coaches, educators, and others who work with young people.

Let's build something together

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

The first arrow. The next possibility.

“Hidden Gems came to my STEM Day event at my school. Archery was really good. The archery teacher was showing me how to shoot the arrow and I got my dart in the blue area on the first try! This is my first time shooting the arrow. I would like them to come back to my school again”

A FEW THINGS TO KNOW

Curiosity is welcome.

Is archery really free?+

Yes. Our foundational archery programming is offered at no cost to families, made possible by grants, donors, and community support. Contact us to learn about current program opportunities.

Does my child need archery experience?+

Not at all. Beginners are welcome, and trained instructors guide participants step by step. We focus on safe participation, personal progress, and having fun—not perfection.

What ages do your programs serve?+

Our core archery programs serve youth ages 5–17. Our expanded mission includes children, youth, and young adults, with opportunities for families and youth-serving adults. Availability varies; contact us to find the right fit.

Where do programs take place?+

We are based in the Bronx and serve the NYC Metro area through schools, community centers, and special events. Specific locations and schedules vary. Our mission allows us to grow beyond New York as future opportunities develop.

Can my school or organization host a program?+

We welcome conversations with schools, nonprofits, and community organizations. Use the inquiry form and select school / organization partnership to tell us about your community.

Are the expanded programs available now?+

Archery remains our foundational program. STEAM, mentoring, readiness, family support, and educator development are part of our expanding whole-child vision. Reach out to ask about current opportunities and plans.

What should participants wear?+

Comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes are best. Avoid loose jewelry or clothing that might interfere with equipment. Our team will share any additional guidance for your session.
